Pray with me please:
Father God, Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, we come before You on behalf of our loved ones still in search of truth and the saving knowledge of our Savior and King. Lord, as we celebrate this Holy week and coming Easter services, we ask for Your Holy Spirit to knock down the walls that separate so many from coming to truly know You.
We pray Father, for the power of Jesus’s life, ministry, death and resurrection to flood the hearts and minds of those who so desperately need You.
If doubt is present, please bring truth. If fear is present, please bring comfort. If anger is present, please bring peace.
As we pray to You about those we know who need to feel the healing touch of our Savior, we ask that You would speak to each one of them individually. Please, Dear Lord, break away the chains that bind them to Satan’s grip and help them to be forever set free.
Father God, where we fall short and are in need of restoration, we pray the prayer of David in Psalm 51:10; create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Dearest Jesus, we worship and adore You and praise Your holy name for the sacrifice of all sacrifices. Our gratitude is beyond words, our adoration incomplete this side of heaven. We pray our actions this week will be worthy of all You’ve done. May all we do and say be honoring and pleasing to You. In Your matchless name we pray, amen.
Friends, I offer this prayer as we come upon Good Friday and Easter/Resurrection Sunday. This day is a time of reflection for me as I am daily blown away by the love and sacrifice of our Savior and Friend. He alone is worthy of our praise!
I would ask that you leave a comment containing the names of those you are praying this prayer for. Then, please pray for others who post the same. There are over 45 of us, so if we all list those we are praying for, that means they are being prayed for over 45 times!
I’ll start: Johnny, Brenda, Lin, Adam, Jenn, Tony, Jeff and Jess.
Thank you for praying, I promise to do the same.
In His embrace,
