May I ask for your prayers please? I’m on a journey. One, I believe, the Lord has been preparing me for for a very long time. Today is the day I am beginning to write the book I’ve had in my heart, and written on little notes, for several years. Raising Him Solo, But Never Alone is the title God gave me and I love it! It is exactly my journey in raising my son as a single mother.
Jesus was always with us. Through His love He brought many incredible men and women into our lives along the way. This book is about those who helped me raise my son, about our journey and about encouraging other single parents to know they are never alone when they have Jesus by their side.
I am on a weekend writing retreat to begin the process of penning my thoughts. It’s just me and Jesus all weekend! Yay! I need this time to rest. I need this time to write.
Will you please pray along with me? Please ask the Lord to give me only the words and thoughts He wants to use to bless and encourage other single parents. Please pray for no distractions to invade my quiet place. And mostly, please pray for Jesus to shine brightest in each and every chapter. For it is He who is deserving of all honor and praise.
Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Therefore, I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and
they will be granted you. Mark 11:24
I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your prayers. It is, indeed, the most intimate a beautiful thing we can do for one another.
May the Lord of all creation bless you and keep you in His tender loving care.
In His embrace,
